河川・水文研究室よりDissanayaka Mudiyanselage Pavithra Sudeshika、熊谷拓時、高木桃子の三名が、都市環境科学研究科学生特別表彰を受賞しました。授賞式では、都市環境科学研究科長 吉川徹先生より賞が授与されました。

受賞理由は以下のとおりです。
Dissanayaka Mudiyanselage Pavithra Sudeshikaさん（博士後期課程３年）
受賞理由：彼女はオリジナリティと高い実現可能性を備えた優れた研究により、第45回アジアリモートセンシング会議（スリランカ）でJSPRS賞を受賞するなどの研究活動が評価されました。彼女の研究姿勢は他の学生の模範となりました。
熊谷拓時さん（博士前期課程１年）
受賞理由：彼は日本水フォーラムのユース派遣団を引率し、第10回世界水フォーラムで日本の流域治水を世界に発信。さらに、水未来会議2024やGlobal Young Scientists Summit 2025にも参加し、積極的な研究・活動を展開しました。これらの熱心な姿勢は他の学生の模範となりました。
高木桃子さん（博士前期課程１年）
受賞理由：彼女はフィリピン大学への留学や、留学生・招聘教員のサポートを通じて国際交流に貢献したほか、その知見を活かし第32回地球環境シンポジウムで優秀ポスター賞を受賞しました。国際的な視野を持った研究活動は他の学生の模範となりました。
Dissanayaka Mudiyanselage Pavithra Sudeshika, Tact Kumagae, and Momoko Takagi in Hydrological Laboratory have recieved the Special Awards of the Graduate School of Urban Environmental Sciences in recognition of their outstanding research and activities. At the award ceremony, the prizes were presented by Prof. Tohru Yoshikawa, Dean of Graduate School of Urban Environmental Sciences.
Reasons for the Award
Dissanayaka Mudiyanselage Pavithra Sudeshika (Doctoral Program, 3rd year)
She dedicated herself to research activities and demonstrated outstanding research results with originality and feasibility and receieved the JSPRS Award at the 45th Asian Conference on Remote Sensing held in Sri Lanka. Her commitment to research has served as a model for other students.
Tact Kumagae (Master’s Program, 1st year)
He led the Japan Water Forum Youth Delegation in participating in the 10th World Water Forum held in Indonesia, at which he promoted Japan’s integrated river basin management on a global stage. Furthermore, he was actively engaged in research and activities by participating in the Water Future Conference 2024 and the Global Young Scientists Summit 2025, serving as a role model for other students.
Momoko Takagi (Master’s Program, 1st year)
She contributed to international exchanges by studying at the University of the Philippines Los Banos and supporting international students and visiting faculty members. Moreover, she received the Best Poster Award at the 32nd Global Environmental Symposium of JSCE held in Kumamoto. Her international perspective and research activities have been exemplary for other students.
