Pavithra Sudeshika, a doctoral student in the River and Hydrology Laboratory, presented a paper titled "Impacts of Land cover changes on rainfall-runoff and sediment transport processes in the Kelani River" at the 45th Asian Conference on Remote Sensing (ACRS2024), and was awarded the Japan Society of Photogrammetry and Radiometric Research (JSPRS) Award for excellent paper submission and excellent presentation.
